July 29 - August 1. We have shifts for you to volunteer anytime on any of those days!
You have a few options for where you'll be stationed. You can sign up to be inside tabling at Ogilvie Transportation Center, or you can be part of the "Sidewalk Brigade" where you walk around with a clipboard and talk with voters outside the Grant Park gates/around Millennium Park.
No. We will be working the crowd outside of the concert and at train stations -- no ticket necessary!
Nope! We'll be using the online voter registration and "motor voter" form - neither of which requires you to be a deputy voter registrar.
Yep! Ballot Z and ILVote are both non-partisan organizations, and our only goal is to register voters. We are not promoting any political party or candidate for elected office.
Dress for the weather, and be prepared to put your t-shirt over whatever else you're wearing. Make sure you do not wear anything partisan. Anything that promotes a political party or candidate is partisan. Issues, however, are not partisan.
We'll give you a t-shirt, a clipboard, a few pens and all the flyers you need. Just bring whatever you need to stay hydrated and protected from the elements. If you sign up for the "sidewalk brigade," bring good walking shoes!
